Who we are and how we work

Jonathan Bedi and Dena Singer worked their cases together for years before they founded Bedi & Singer as a two-lawyer firm. They still do. Both partners work on every case, and they talk through every step of it: which motions to file, which witnesses to call, how to try the case.

Every decision starts with one question: what is best for this client. If Dena is better suited to a witness or a closing argument, she takes it. If Jonathan is, he does. Clients are never handed off.

Every case is prepared as though it will be tried. Both partners have tried bench and jury trials to verdict in federal and state court, and the motion practice is as aggressive as the trial practice: when the government has violated a client’s rights, Bedi & Singer moves to suppress the evidence or statements, to quash the arrest, or to dismiss the charges.
